MTN Government Services (MTNGS) operates a secure worldwide network utilizing 32 satellite footprints, nine teleport gateways and 14 points of presence strategically located to serve its customers across the globe. Each of these facilities is interconnected through an extensive, carrier-diverse redundant terrestrial network backbone with multi-homed Internet access, offering numerous connectivity options for mission-critical communications requirements.
Since 1981, MTN Satellite Communications (MTN) has been the industry pioneer and the first company to offer a stabilized Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT) satellite solution for ships at sea. MTN continues to provide global communications to the maritime and transportable communities, leveraging its extensive network and VSAT expertise. Over the past three decades, MTN has contributed greatly to the evolution of the satellite industry and continues to deliver communications solutions that address the needs of today’s end users. In March of 2009, MTN launched MTNGS, a wholly owned subsidiary to penetrate the public sector.
MTNGS offers a comprehensive range of communications solutions to the Government, designed to meet the most intricate communications requirements. MTNGS' core competencies consist of Managed VSAT networks, Satellite Engineering, and Satellite Management Consulting. Through the integration of these competencies, MTNGS is able to offer our comprehensive lifecycle solutions as well as specialized individual services related to program planning, execution, and continuance. We offer "One Stop Shop” managed VSAT services and solutions which utilize industry and business-process knowledge in combination with system solution expertise. We identify and implement solutions that are designed to improve the competitiveness and operating efficiency of Government agencies.
