MTNGS has built, and continues to grow and enhance, a stable and robust network of teleport gateways to effectively serve more than 600 vessels sailing around the world and to U.S. government and commercial aircraft on transatlantic routes that demand reliable, always-available communication solutions.

MTNGS’ wholly owned and operated teleport is located in Holmdel, New Jersey. It is a state-of-the-art 10,000-square-foot facility that enhances MTNGS’ capabilities by supporting the transmission needs of government agencies, ISPs, television broadcasters, cable programmers, carriers, business television and radio. MTNGS has full control of its primary point of presence (POP) with direct access to major ISPs and provides important network redundancy in emergency situations.
The MTNGS teleport has access to a variety of spacecraft, as well as the U.S. domestic arc serving the Pacific, Atlantic and Western Indian Ocean regions. Holmdel is the only U.S. teleport connecting with IS at 359 degrees East Longitude.
Santander Teleport Achieves Highest Ranking in the Fast Twenty List of 2011 by the World Teleport Association (WTA)
Based in Spain, the Santander Teleport, a joint venture between MTN and ERZIA, serves as a centralized gateway for MTNGS’ VSAT communications, supporting coverage over the Americas, Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia. It allows access to C-Band, Ku-Band and Secure X-Band services from a single location for commercial and government organizations. The facility advances network efficiency, reliability and customer service to increase MTNGS’ worldwide infrastructure of teleports and dedicated fiber optics links.
In addition, the Santander Teleport’s 24/7 Network Operations Center (NOC) delivers European time zone coverage and local language operators to global customers.
